I wake up everyday at 7am, even if it’s my day off. It also doesn’t matter if I go to sleep at 9pm, 12am, 3am or 7pm….I am waking up at 7am. Kind of weird right? I think so too.
This brings me to my next thought. Am I an elderly person trapped in a 28 year old’s body? You know…..because old people are always up early for no apparent reason.
I’m kidding. That wasn’t my next thought. This was —> I am generally awake for a few hours before everyone else is (especially on the weekends.) I am also one of those people that wake up starving. I have decided that instead of wasting a ton of WW points in the early morning I will fill up on a lot of fruit for my first meal of the day.
The beauty of fruit is it is zero points and you can eat as much as you want.
Have you ever consumed a 1 pound box of strawberries? I am sure you have. It’s the typical size box of strawberries you can get at your local grocery store. Well once I eat one of those boxes I feel full for awhile AND GOOD. By eating fruit it curbs my appetite and any cravings for a mountain of bacon.
This picture made my mouth water. Thanks God I ate those strawberries so I am already full. TAKE THAT, BACON!
If you eat as much fruit as I do, I would encourage or suggest buying your fruit from Costco or Smart & Final. You can get a lot more for your $$$ but you have to commit to eating all of it before it goes bad. Or don’t. It’s up to you. I’m not trying to be your mom and tell you what to do with your life.
Conclusion: When I am hungry but don’t feel like eating a full meal or wasting my points on food during weird hours of the day, I will eat fruit. Lots of it. It’s zero points, it makes me feel good and it’s good for producing a BM (Bowel Movement.)
