July 16th

Two weeks ago I started this blog. Two weeks of fun has been had. Thank you to all that have come back to read my daily posts and I am sorry for freaking you out with this weird girl’s facial expression.

Remember when we were in high school and had a boyfriend or girlfriend and we would actually celebrate things like 2 week anniversary’s and it was a really big deal? I was totally that person. I just got embarrassed thinking about it. Now I barely celebrate one year anniversary’s or even remember when I started dating people. I’m such a jerk haha. Maybe I will change that one day when I finally get together with Prince Charming a normal guy who is compatible with me & inspires me to remember dates that are meaningful and worthwhile. I’m not giving out hope just yet.

EW! What just happened here? I started talking about feelings and mushy stuff.


I will now resume our regular scheduled programming.

I realize that some of you started coming to this blog to read about the foods I have been eating and how I am losing weight. Some of you might not be interested in the weird banter, animated gifs, memes and random musings of my life, therefore I am attempting to stay true to the original idea of this blog while still incorporating all of the other stuff. With that said, if you don’t like the weird banter, animated gifs, memes and random musings then what the heck is wrong with you?!?! It’s hilarious! There’s no way you don’t like reading that.

Jokes. I got em.

I can’t decide if I want to put the list of foods/points consumed that I ate for the day in a list form in the beginning of each post or at the end. I guess I will just try it out and determine what is more aesthetically pleasing and produces a better flow. Heads Up: Today I will post the food list at the end of the blog entry 🙂


My texts/emails continue to come in from friends telling me how much they are enjoying reading this blog and that they are really connecting with it. I wanted to share with you a portion of an email I received this morning from my friend, Kristen who is on her own weight loss journey which has been really successful! GO KRISTEN!

It is only 2:08pm so here is the list of things I have eaten so far: 

  1. Banana = 0 points
  2. Strawberries= 0 points 
  3. 2 Rice Cakes = 2 points
  4. Trail Mix = 3 points for 1/4 a cup. This stuff is delicious so I have eaten approx. 10 points of it. 
  5. Water + Coffee = 0 points. 

I am kind of tired right now so I think I am going to take a nap. When I wake up it’s probably going to be dinner time and I will have 19 points to consume which is kind of a lot for one sitting (at least for me.) Maybe I will use it on In N Out and go get a grilled cheese sandwich with grilled onions and fries.

If I don’t physically look like this when I eat In N Out then it’s definitely a good representation of what I look like internally.
