July 18th

Great News: I feel MUCH better today compared to yesterday. High five to my immune system.

Bad News: I purposely listened to a Justin Bieber song today and I liked it.

What is happening to me?!

I completely understand if you have to discontinue reading my blog and publicly shunning me. I don’t blame you. Go ahead…

My lovely friend Nicole text messaged me this morning to tell me that I have inspired her to join WW. THAT IS SOOOO COOL! I can’t believe that the idiotic things I am talking about everyday on this blog is inspiring people to do great things for their body and health. Who would have thought? Certainly not that bitchy 5th grader that called me fat on the playground back in the day. Seriously, why are kids soooo mean!?

So today I went into work and saw these beautiful flowers all over the office:

No it isn’t what you’re thinking…..some amazing, intelligent, caring, loving man who spends his off days saving children and puppies from a burning house sent all these flowers to me as a good morning gesture….no. That didn’t happen.

What actually happened is probably more shocking than that fantasy I just wasted my time typing out. There was a wedding in the community that was apparently all paid for and cancelled at the last-minute. The nice florist who did all the flowers donated all the arrangements to our agency to give to our patients. I know this has NOTHING to do with weight loss but I couldn’t help but blog about it. I am thrilled that our patients get the joy of seeing such beautiful flowers show up unexpectedly but the horror of thinking about paying for a wedding and then canceling it legitimately gives me the chills. I have actually had nightmares about this before. Not so much nightmares about paying for flowers and not enjoying them, more so marrying the wrong man and realizing it while I am walking down the aisle towards him. OMG BARF. WORST NIGHTMARE EVER. So I guess it’s pretty good that they cancelled it before they both went through with it but don’t you think canceling the relationship before putting a ring on it would have made more sense? I don’t know. Just a thought.

My food intake was so so today. I stayed within my points but I definitely did not eat enough fruits and veggies. Here’s the list

  1. Egg Whites & an english muffin = 4 points
  2. Half Bagel with Cream cheese and a ton of pineapple= 5 points
  3. 3/4 of a cappuccino packet (dumped flowers in the rest, huh?): 3 points
  4. 6 inch “light” tuna on flatbread from Subway loaded with spinach, pickles, onions (no cheese)= I actually have no idea how many points this was. From the little research I did online I am going to say this thing was 12 points.
  5. Smart Ones Chocolate Brown Sundae that tasted like dirt…shouldn’t have even finished it but I did = 4 points
  6. I ate 1 red vine,  4 chips and had 2 jolly ranchers here and there. I am going to just pretend like that was 3 points total because that’s how many points I had left for the day.

Total: 31 points

I would have to say that the thing I am SUPER PROUD OF is the fact that I have not had regular soda for 2 weeks. I am not even going to try and pretend like I am above drinking soda like a crazy 12 year old. I love soda. I love Coke a Cola. I especially love a big Coke from McDonalds. The carbonation is perfect. It’s a real joy to drink until I realize that I just drank straight up syrup infused with liquid sugar that is eating through the enamel of my teeth.

My last thought of the night is this:

My birthday is coming up on September 2nd (everyone gets Monday off for Labor Day…except Marianne because Trader Joe’s apparently hates all their employees) and I booked a trailer at Hicksville for Saturday & Sunday. Now I am sure you are saying “OMG Deanna has turned into a hill billy and is going to a place that could potentially be a location that breeds racism and close minded opinions. You are wrong, Sir. Dead wrong. I am not even going to go as far to post all the amazing pictures and details of the SUPER FUN amenities of this place because if you are even remotely serious about your curiosities then you will follow that link…..Ok…ok…you pulled my arm….I will at least show you the trailer that I will be staying in for that weekend:

It’s called the Pioneer

So here’s the thing……I booked this thing when I was all in love and couldn’t see straight. Now I’m single and I have this trailer that will only be occupied by me which is fine and dandy but I am in the mood for company and would love for someone to come with me. It’s already paid for so I am not looking for someone to spilt the cost with me. Just do me a favor and don’t snore or else you will be sleeping outside. My friend Janell and her husband are also going but they are going to stay in the FiFi trailer:

I’m more than positive no one will take me up on this amazing offer which will then make me re-think all of my friendships with you guys but hey, at least a girl tried.

Oh! I almost forgot….I said earlier in this post that I dumped flowers in my cappuccino

Here’s my proof

But why would I do such a thing? Because I’m weird, that’s why.

Thanks again for stopping by and reading my crazy blog. I have enjoyed your company XOXO

About FunnyGirlweightloss

Hey You! Welcome to my blog, I am happy you stopped by and I hope my struggles make you laugh a little bit....wait, what?....Anywho, this is my weight loss blog where I will be 100% honest and real about my struggles in losing some weight and more importantly, keeping it off. Most people that know me say I am funny (hence, the title of this blog) so I guess the twist is the fact that I am going to be completely candid about how much losing weight can be really tough/hard/awful/daunting/boring, yet eventually amazing and totally worthwhile. Hopefully through my vulnerability and candidness, I help inspire others to lose some weight and stay motivated. https://funnygirlweightloss.wordpress.com/

I would love to commit to you, but since I am returning from Oregon on the 30th (thurs) and go back to work (friday) I will most likely be DEAD tired come the weekend and be miserable…even though i KNOW i will love it HIcksville. =( and I wanna be there for your burffday =( balls. big fat balls on my forehead.
