It’s a vampire Good morning

Good Morning and Happy Early Halloween!

The pictures of me as a vampire was three years ago if my memory serves me correctly which it probably didn’t. That was a fun Halloween.

This next picture of me dressed up as a Day of the Dead figure was from last year’s Halloween. At that time I was dating a guy who brought me and my friends to a “family Halloween party.” Little did we know we were walking into a party where there were NO white people and we couldn’t figure out who was dressed up in costume or who just showed up in normal clothes, yet they were of Hispanic origin and looked suspicious.

I might sound racist right now but I assure you I’m not. They were all Mexican and the men were frightening and the women were half naked. No one talked to us. No one. I was weirded out but mostly because I couldn’t find any candy.

My friend Kenny is a grown man and was dressed in a black leotard and an overcoat thing that was a Penguin. His legs exposed. I was dressed as the Day of the Dead and Marianne, a vampire. We found a quiet grassy patch of land to stand on during the party and isolate ourselves and just be the awkward Gringa’s and Gringo. Till this day I can’t believe the dude guarding the door leading us into the party let us in. They must have thought we were lost.

I really love Halloween because of the dressing up and creepy decorations but I HATE being scared. This isn’t one of those times where I say I hate something but I love it so I still go to haunted houses and mazes and put myself in situations where I know I’m going to be running for my life even when I know it’s fake. No, no… I really really don’t like being scared.

Basically I just really love dressing up and being silly or creative with my makeup and costumes.

This year I’m going to a Halloween party but I don’t have a committed costume. I do however own tons of wigs, red sparkle shorts, a bubble blower, a unicorn helmet that has a holster for two beer cans on each side of my head and other oddities I can throw together to make it look like I’m a big mess of colors and fun.

OR I was thinking of just showing up to the party in normal everyday clothes, bring my laptop with me and just say I’m a blogger. HAHA. Ok, why is that so funny to me? Probably because I can actually see myself doing it.

I am posting from my bed so I haven’t even thought about what I’m going to eat or this whole “continue to lose weight thing.” I have definitely hit a plateau though which is fine, at least I’m not gaining a bunch of weight.

Yesterday marked my busiest day on my blog!!!! Thank you and a big HELLO to all you new pretty faces out there! Come back and visit me again 🙂 Let’s be friends!

I couldn’t sleep last night so I made this “First World Problems” meme:

Does anyone else do this? I LOVE the sound of a fan when I go to sleep but sometimes it’s just too cold already to put a fan on overnight. I just end up turning the fan around so it blows in the opposite direction of me. I should just invest in one of those “put baby to sleep” machines where it makes a lot of whirling noises like they are deep sea diving or hanging out in their mother’s womb.

First World Problems.

I will post later! I gotta get up and head out to work! I hope you all have a wonderful day and come back and see me later 🙂

About FunnyGirlweightloss

Hey You! Welcome to my blog, I am happy you stopped by and I hope my struggles make you laugh a little bit....wait, what?....Anywho, this is my weight loss blog where I will be 100% honest and real about my struggles in losing some weight and more importantly, keeping it off. Most people that know me say I am funny (hence, the title of this blog) so I guess the twist is the fact that I am going to be completely candid about how much losing weight can be really tough/hard/awful/daunting/boring, yet eventually amazing and totally worthwhile. Hopefully through my vulnerability and candidness, I help inspire others to lose some weight and stay motivated.
