I like people with depth, I like people with emotion, I like people with a strong mind, an interesting mind, a twisted mind, and also someone that can make me smile.- Abbey Lee Kershaw

I’m all moved in and IT FEELS GREAT!!!!

My highlight of the day:

My neighbors are amazing. Every single one of them that I have met so far have been warm, welcoming and even helped me move my stuff into my place.

You know when people say their faith has been restored in humanity. Well..if I was one of those people that say those kinds of things then I probably would have said it a few times this weekend.

Let’s get back to the actual highlight of the day though. I am currently blogging because my neighbor is allowing me to jump onto her WIFI network and we are going to spilt the internet bill. This makes me SUPER HAPPY. I REALLYYYYYYY didn’t want to pay $40 a month or sign up on some contract just so I can go online and look at all the things I want to buy from Etsy and I can definitely justify $20 a month though. The internet connection is also really really fast! This might be due to the fact that she and I share a common wall and we both have studios so I can’t imagine the modem being that far away from where I am sitting right now. Anyway, this really made my day and I am super happy that my neighbors are so awesome and that it feels like a community instead of a bunch of passing ships in the night.

Today I took some pictures of myself and sent them to my boyfriend. Here is the progression minus his reply pictures because although I am an open book I need to keep some things to myself even if they are totally innocent and could easily be shared with the world.

I sent this one first. This was my "What are you doing booger butt face! Work is almost over and I can't wait..."

I can't exactly remember why I made this stupid face but it was probably because I wanted to be corny.

He made fun of my corny face winky point picture so I made the sad face.

Ok I have had enough. It needs to December 19th now. That is when he comes into town and I get to have a cuddle party with him. These pictures are definitely a reflection of how stupid we are with each other but that’s the beauty of a nice, normal relationship. I am truly happy. It feels great.

Speaking of feeling great, I have been eating good and drinking nothing but water for the exception of one soda during moving day. I have no idea how much I weigh right now because I don’t actually own a scale. I am still deciding if I want to buy one or not for my new place. I will get back to you about that.

Last night was nice. My brother came to my new place and we WALKED over to The Americana. I emphasized the word walked because I am REALLY excited about the fact that I can walk to places like a movie theater, Target, a huge shopping center, Cheesecake Factory, a big grassy area where I can lay on the ground like a hippie staring up at the sky talking to myself and saying how much I love my life.

Here are a few pictures from last night:

And now I present to you Tessa and Mr. Chicken looking happier than ever on her new couch chair:

If that isn't a happy dog, I don't know what is.

If that isn’t a happy dog, I don’t know what is.

Here is my front window that I get to wake up to every morning. I love the trees. There are squirrels living in there and humming birds that stop by to say hello. It’s really peaceful.

Even though Tessa has always been an in-door dog despite her massive womanly size I feel like I really need to walk her more now that it’s just her and I in this apartment. I took her on a 30-minute walk before work, on my lunch break and another one is in store after I am finished with this post. Let’s make bets on who’s butt gets firmer from all these walks. My money is on Tessa.

I’m going to go back to organizing and putting things away before our last walk of the day.   I am currently watching the movie Half Baked while I do this task and laughing my ass off. Here is a clip from the movie. I am pretty convinced if I ever went to jail (which I wouldn’t because I am a major rule follower) I would be exactly like Kenny…..

“You guys believe in Angels? ….” BAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

About FunnyGirlweightloss

Hey You! Welcome to my blog, I am happy you stopped by and I hope my struggles make you laugh a little bit....wait, what?....Anywho, this is my weight loss blog where I will be 100% honest and real about my struggles in losing some weight and more importantly, keeping it off. Most people that know me say I am funny (hence, the title of this blog) so I guess the twist is the fact that I am going to be completely candid about how much losing weight can be really tough/hard/awful/daunting/boring, yet eventually amazing and totally worthwhile. Hopefully through my vulnerability and candidness, I help inspire others to lose some weight and stay motivated.
